»Make it visual!« is a training course about visualisation and use of visual tools.
There are so many different tools available for visualisation, but nowhere on the internet can one find a descriptive list of them, as to decipher the incomprehensible expressions (graphic recording, sketch noting, visual or graphic facilitation, visual messaging, graphical snapshots, templates, mind maps, stencils, lettering, calligraphy, etc.). Finding these expressions in our mother tongues is an even harder task.
This is why a group of partners from Slovenia, Estonia, Hungary, Poland, France, Germany, Italy, Slovakia and Norway decided to organise a training course for 20 youth workers, trainers and other staff members from our organisations, where it will be showed how to start with simplified drawings and try out some of the visual tools which can help us improve the quality of our educational and youth work.
After the end of the project, it will be organised an online follow up to help our participants remember more new knowledge and skills and offer them mentorship to help them prepare for the implementation of workshops for other staff from their organisations, as well as other youth organisations in their local environment. All newly gained knowledge will be gathered on our new website, with photos, videos and other visual material and translated to our mother tongues.

This project aims to spread the knowledge and practical use of visual tools in non-formal education:

  • equip staff of our organisations with new skills and help them grow
  • inspire creativity and innovation
  • improve quality and efficiency in our organisations and in the youth sector
  • spread the knowledge about visual tools with interested public
  • establish long-term international partnerships

  • Participants will be able to draw simplified and quick and use this knowledge to make their trainings more attractive  and help their participants to learn more in less time.
  • Participants will be able to use all of the visualisation methods.
